I had an accident in work, they admitted liability and now we have to go to county court…is there a maximum set limit they pay out or is it up to the judges?

All the Best!
The award you get will depend on the injuries you received,
and whether they are permanent or not
Are you disabled / or not as a result
Also taken into account will be loss of wages, and expenses you incurred etc etc
There is no maximum but all points will be considered before a figure is arrived at,
£5000, I have a personal injury claim going through, my solicitor said this is the most you can claim in a county court. This includes property damage.
I think Stig Bubblecard needs a new solictor.
There is no limit, but in truth the non-existence of a limit is irrelevant.
You are entitled to recover two things:
(1) money lost as a result of the accident, (wages etc,.) and future financial loss, (if any).
(2) The injury itself is compensated by reference to general damages and whilst there is no tarriff for say, a broken leg, the range of awards is within a fairly small range (upper and lower)
I rough guide is reproduced in the website below.
