I was in a serious accident in 2002. I have had to go all over the country for medical reports to back up my claim. I went for two medicals in June 2007 and I still have not recieved the report from thses consultants
Is this a usual time scale becasuse all of the previious ones were very fast at coming

Do you realize it has been almost a year since you had these two consultations? And you still don’t have reports? Each state has "statute of limitation" laws for personal injury; check yours. You may have waited too long. Good luck.
If you are in the United States, it is probably too late to sue anybody for the 2002 injury. And if it is too late to sue, there is no possibility of collecting through processing the claim and negotiating. If you ask a new question about the statute of limitations and tell us what state you are in, somebody will look up the statute of limitations in your state.
If you are not in the U.S. you need to find out whether your country has a statute of limitations. I think it is likely that you have waited too long and there is no point in collecting medical evidence.
The consultant’s reports should have be received within a week or two. If not, you should have followed up and insisted. You can still follow up and insist.
Finally, if you had that serious an accident, with injuries so serious had to go all over the country, you were foolish to try to handle your claim yourself. And attorney would have been able to get more money than you ever could from your claim.

And I am not your attorney.
you probably waited too long but I hope things go well
