I was in a car crash at the beginning of last year and i filed a personal injury claim with a solicitor. However its been 19 month since the accident and the case just isn’t seem to be getting resolved and I am moving abroad in just over a month.
According to my solicitor the defense has been delaying the case over the past 5 month gone by and now they are delaying the case more. Today I got a letter saying they are not willing to look into my case at the present and my solicitor says this usually when they suspect fraudulent activities.
I am getting very frustrated now and this thrown a spanner and the works as I am leaving the country soon as stated and would like to resolve the case.
What would be the best way to resolve this? It would be stupid for me to travel back to this country for the court hearing if it did go to court for a decision as its only a small claim and it would probably cost nearly as much in flight costs. Would I simply be able to cancel the claim now at this lat stage? Is this possible and would I have to pay alot of solicitors fee’s? Or would simply just ignoring it and moving away be the best option now if things don’t move along further? thanks.

If some one was involved in a car accident and hurt there lower back,the doc sends them for an mri scan.the scan comes back saying there is alot of "degenerative discs.
the person hurt there back 15yrs before,but it was well healed and never gave any problems,but now they are on alot of medication for pain etc…..
there doc could say that there lower back has never gave any bother since the first accident 15yrs ago.
Will the courts say there was already damage before the crash " ie.degenerative discs"or is the "egg shell" effect used??
